Learning at Home
How to help your child at home
Your child has been given their own email address and can login at any time to office.com, where they can access TEAMS. Each child belongs to their year group's team and work will be posted online here for you to access. Please encourage your child to work through the resources, ensuring that they also have time to relax, read and play. Any questions you may have about the work set may be emailed to your child's class teacher or via the Team chat function. We do not expect children to be working all day, every day - they do need rest breaks. By sharing a story, mini beast hunting or building a fort out of old cardboard boxes, children are using skills such as problem solving, teamwork and investigation. Learning should not be all about completing worksheets. Do encourage your child to keep a diary about their days at home too. Links to useful websites can be found attached.
If you experience any problems logging into the Microsoft platform, you should phone the school office, who will then direct your communication to someone who will help.
Alternatively, you can phone to arrange a paper pack of work, which can be collected from the office during school opening times.
